Take off your baby’s clothes and sponge her with cool water, till the temperature reduces to around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Give her a few sips of water if you feel that she is dehydrated. Alternatively, if your child’s body feels very cool, she might have an infection. Check her temperature. If it is below 96 degrees Fahrenheit, wrap her snugly with warm clothing, taking care to cover the scalp.
