- Have the children form a circle and let them hold each other’s hands forming an inverted ‘V’.
- Now let one child start the game by going around all the children in the figure of eight. While this child takes his/her rounds, the others sing-In and out the rusty window (3times)You are the leader now.
Tap, tap, tap, tap on my shoulder (3 times)
You are the leader now.
- On the sound of tap, tap the child has to stop going in and out and begin tapping on the shoulders of the person in front till the time the song restarts from ‘In and out the rusty window’.
- Now the second child becomes the leader and in this way the chain keeps becoming longer until all the children form one long chain.You can devise your own ways and tunes to sing the song.
